Allow me to Introduce Myself
Hello,
This is my first experience doing a blog so please bear with me. I am in an entrepreneurship class at my university and this blog is simply one of my assignments. I enjoy the benefits of technology and of the internet so honestly creating a blog is right up my alley.
I come from a background of two highly successful entrepreneurs. My father is one of the founding restaurant franchisees in my home state, and my mother has one of the largest organizations in a network marketing company (over 70,000 distributors world wide). Entrepreneurship is in my blood and ever since I can remember, I wanted to own my own successful business or businesses. Because both of my parents own and run their own businesses, I was brought up to think in a manner other than the typical corporate America structure. I was never taught to go through school, then get a college degree, then hopefully get a good paying job working 9am-5pm everyday and then finally retiring. What I was taught; was to do something that I am really passionate about and go for it fully. I was taught that if I truly chose something in life, then I need to understand it from the ground up and pursue it with everything in me. A wise man once said, if you truly want to be wealthy then you need to earn money while you sleep. This statement struck something in me, making me realize that the way I wanted to pursue this idea in my life was to own my own business. Entrepreneurs fascinate me; they all have an interesting story of how they got started or when their business began to be successful. These are the types of people with personality, independence, and above all a desire to better their lives and those around them.
